DAMMIT

What was the sci-fi TV series with symbiotes that looked something like that and plugged into the back of a human's neck? I can't even remember if it was a whole series or just one episode. How will I ever know if the comparison to your nose is appwopwiate?

Hey, my sinuses suddenly got very loud.

It is possible that you are thinking of Puppet Masters.

OMFG

Somebody else saw that and recognized it from Rone's nose? You are INSANE! Do I remember right that there was a series? IMDB says no. Did I maybe just see the movie in about sixteen brief installments?

'Aliens that plug into the neck and look vaguely like squashy flesh-rhomboids' as a description admits of very few conclusions, and 'Puppet Masters' is paramount. I didn't see the flick, but I did read the book, back when I still read Heinlein.

I'm just grateful that wasn't a stereo image. Even so, I instinctively rolled my chair back a foot or so.

This is truly nifty.

Now, if you were to incorporate this into a gif that moves your eye into view, you'd well and truly creep us all out.
