ol' fashioned dirty limerick

There was once a young girl named Adele
whose vagina had quite a nice smell
She would rub to ensure
that the odor was pure
so her panties on eBay would sell

As far as i know, "Adele" is pronounced ah-DELL. I've never heard of anyone named 'a deli'.

I'LL STICKLE YOU!

My mother's brother's daughters by common law include an Adele, pronounced "ah deli." The others are Naiellie and Naudie, and my uncle's actual daughter is named Ashley.

And, as you know, I work in Oakland. There are variations on spelling and pronunciation here that would drive Samuel Webster around the bend.

You be careful with your stickling; I now know your scent.

The name Adele has two syllables, but there is another related name in French, Adélie, which has three. The well-known Adelie penguin is named after Adelie Land in Antarctica, named by French explorer Jules Dumont d'Urville after his wife. Now you know.

I'm sure she was thrilled to be compared to a bird that waddles.

The bird, however, was flattered.
