It has come to my attention that some clowns have "We Put The DOT in .ORG™" on their Web site. Yes, trademarked, ALL of them. How strange. And yet i doubt that any of them have had it on their site as long as i've had it on mine.

I must consider if this is worth wasting my time on.

Which of these is your prior art site again?

I'm no TESS expert, but I can't find any evidence that any of them have actually registered the trademark. Somebody else might have better luck than me, though.

I did find registrations for "We put the calm in dot com" and "We put the com in dot com" (abandoned).

The common element appears to be "Web Design by Cookie," who probably has that as a slogan. Also, TESS is easy, and if it's not there, it's probably fair game. For both of ya.

I like the ones that say "Web Design by WDBC". I guess in the post-bubble web design world, having a company named "Cookie" isn't good anymore and you have to use a redundant acronym instead.
