Just finished reading Night Watch the other day (great, great book), and i must say, i'm flattered.

Vimes!
Discworld: Which Ankh-Morpork City Watch Character are YOU?

Yeah, I think Night Watch is the best thing he's written in a very very long time. A nice return to Vimes, too, who becomes more and more a really great character.

I got Frederick Colon. I was IMing my sister while taking the quiz and told her that at least I wasn't Nobby. Lindsey decided she wanted to try for Nobby and took the quiz. She came out as Fred Colon as well. I think we're a wee bit too much alike.

Later on, Matt told me being Nobby was better than being Fred, which took away my scant consolation.

I think this is why I shouldn't fill out online quizzes as if they were Real and Serious personality tests.

I think Nobby would be better than scoring as Vetinari, personally.

I like Vetinari. He's like Darth Vader but not evil

Well, yeah, but i wouldn't to score like him.

I scored Carrot.

Hmm.

I highly recommend not going out and immediately reading Monstrous Regiment then. Not that it's not a good book. I mean it's not only Pratchett, but Discworld, how could it be bad? But after all that Vimesy goodness in NW, his bit part in MR is a bit of a let down. Of course, I could just have all Vimes all the time with random patches of Rincewind and Granny Weatherwax and I'd be good so I may not be the most impartial judge.

Well, The Color of Magic is not very good, and i was fairly bored by The Last Continent.

Yeah, Rincewind kinda wears on me.

Though I loved The Last Hero, I think it was?

I couldn't stand Rincewind, but then i read Sourcery and that was OK, and i fairly enjoyed Interesting Times.

I like the Witches but I'd rather read Rincewind over them any day of the week. Rincewind is the kind to run from danger, not the kind to go over and kick it hard

Well...you kind of have to cut the guy some slack for CoM, he was just finding his way. I enjoyed LC...I liked figuring out all the Aussie references he was making, there were so many fun ones.

Despite my love of all things Vimes though, my absolute favorite is still Truth. Guess it's the journalist in me.

My favorite three are Night Watch, Hogfather, and Feet Of Clay. Can't decide between `em.
