¿cómo se dice "glass houses" en coreano?

The bland and uninspiring Gray Davis mocks Ahnuld in the cheapest way possible: his accent, he says, is sufficient cause to disqualify him as a potential governor. "You shouldn't be governor unless you can pronounce the name of the state."

"He can't even speak English well. How can he govern the state of California?" said [Sukhee] Kang, who emigrated from South Korea in 1977, as he warmed up the crowd before Davis arrived.

I suspect Davis is doing his damnedest to get Ahnuld elected, out of the sheer spite he holds for Cruz Bustamante. What better way than to make idiotic ad hominem attacks and thus cause reactionary sympathy? Besides, Davis has proven time and again that it's what he does best!

Everything I've read says that that's pretty much all he can do -- he's not electable on his own merits, but he plays dirty and wins that way.

It's all true. A sad, sad thing.

Because a lack of a perfect American accent stopped Arnold from making millions in movies.

Sigh. Davis is either incredibly smart or god awfully stupid

It's funny, but I don't even notice Arnie's accent that much.

I guess it's because I've spent a lot of time in engineer and
computer science classes in college, where some of the profs
had incredibly difficult accents to understand, and if you didn't
get used to it fast, you wouldn't be in college for very long.

These guys have such thick accents, that when they got onto the TV news
for some reason, the kindly TV folks would add "subtitles",
even tho they were talking in King's English.

That reminds me ... I've got to sign up for Spanish 2.
