Safari and TouchTerm SSH allow me to deal with most of the problems that crop up during my on-call period from the safety and warmth of my bed.

You know, people were doing that with laptops, even, years ago. (And with an actual keyboard! The kind where you hit a letter, and get that exact letter! Amazing!)
