Every time I see that word, I think of a friend's sister. The sister found out after the fact that her roommate had been diagnosed as having, among other things, "homicidal ideation".

So now I'm thinking of a "Homicidal Ideation Strategist"... I guess Stalin fits that bill quite well.

I've spent enough time jobhunting that I'd take that position, especially if I get to ideate the strategy for killing off the recruiters.

So "Ideation" is a word that exists outside this particular recruiter's head? I learn something every day (usually by wasting time with Wikipedia).

I'm strategizing my ideation right now, if you know what I mean.

Don't misunderestimate their strategery

Heh. Tell this recruiter that you totally have just the person, and then forward them to a Turing-Test generator. See how long it takes them to write you back and say, "I'm not sure this person is a fit for the position...."

Was the job description written by the Self-Educated Inmate? (Damon Wayans, In Living Color)

Also, I sing "Black Girls" to my cats. Because I dig them black girls oh so much more than the white girls.

That kind of thing can get you involuntarily committed!

Well, isn't that how it always goes -- science advances so quickly that after twenty years you can't understand what people are talking about anymore. It's the same as how it was with electricity, radio, relativity and quantum mechanicals and whatnot.

Is there any way you can explain what an Ideation Strategist does in a way that the older generation can understand? Something to do with robots and teleportation and that sort of thing maybe, or is that all old hat now? I do try to keep up.
