who likes heavy metal?

Check out this video on MySpace by Jameson; the band's bassist, Jay, is a long-time friend of [livejournal.com profile] elmuchacho.

Not really the kind of music I like, but I will say they seem very good AT that type. I like to have at least a vague chance of making out the lyrics :P.

Dude, you really might enjoy short.fast.loud (http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/shortfastloud/default.htm) and Full Metal Racket (http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/racket/default.htm) on TripleJ. No podcast, but you can stream the latest show.

To my ears, it sounds like they've been listening to a Swedish band called The Haunted (several other influences also discernible). Not that this is a bad thing.

While there's nothing really unique or distinctive about their style, it's pretty solid metal and worth banging your heard to. No idea on the lyrics, they should try getting away from the distorted vocals bit. It's old school and pretty tired.

What's hot in metal now is female vocalists. Especially hot ones, :)
