After spending a long weekend surrounded by nerds, i started getting ill last night and now continue to be ill.  Serves me right, i suppose.

In happier news, i just bought tickets to see 50 Foot Wave at Café du Nord.  Here's the tour dates:

Friday, 27 Feb - Easy Street (Queen Anne) in-store appearance @ 6pm
Friday, 27 Feb - Seattle, WA - Tractor Tavern
Saturday, 28 Feb - Portland, OR - Lola's Room (downstairs at the Crystal Ballroom)
Thursday, 18 March - Austin, TX - Momo's (SxSW)
Saturday, 20 March - Tucson, Arizona - Solar Cultural Center - with Howe Gelb (solo, but electric)

Waht is this 50' Wave? I notice that they have two Seattle appearances. (QA is in Seattle.)

Kristin Hersh's new band (her old band was Throwing Muses). 50' Wave has a much harder sound than TM... if you heard the last TM album, it's kinda like that, only more so. See Throwing Music Online (http://throwingmusic.com/) for more info.
