Many of you already have read about this in 2wanda's journal (and have already donated, thank you!).  In mid-July, Kim joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training.  She plans to walk a half-marathon on Oct 22, in San Francisco, to raise funds for the Society.  Please visit her fundraising page; anything you can give, even encouragement, is greatly appreciated.

Hey, your wife rocks.

I've got a friend at work who has diffuse large B cell lymphoma, a non-Hodgkins lymphoma. On her behalf, thanks for helping find a cure. I can't donate as much as I'd like, today, though, because I'm [also?] donating to my friend's "these bone marrow transplants are seriously goddamn expensive and insurance *might* cover one of the two needed" fund.
