Now all you have are Bukake books.

(I'm sorry, [livejournal.com profile] palecur made me say that. Well, he didn't really, but I can tell that if he had been sitting here, he'd have wanted me to say that.)

Warren Ellis Henry Miller
Neil Gaiman Alan Moore
William Gibson
Joseph Heller
Frank Herbert
Aldous Huxley
Larry Niven Charles Dickens
Terry Pratchett John Fante
J. R. R. Tolkien
Dalton Trumbo Tom Wolfe

I actually used to like Larry Niven, but his books are deep in the box now. So are Frank Herbert's, but for awhile I was heavy into him too. What odd books (Dosadi? Whipping Star??). Anyway, I value him in retrospect more than L.N., hence his retention on the list.
