I was toying with the idea of getting this license plate:

OT VIII

But the DMV Web site claims it's taken.  I could one-up them and get an OT IX plate, but that just doesn't look obvious enough.

I think these days, they're NOTs, instead of OT-- N is for "New Era Dianetics." They must've had to adjust the scale so they could do some promotions in title only, once the money started rolling in. Time was an OT III was the big time, from what I've read (http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/NOTs/), and beyond OT III you get NOT IV, V, up to VII, according to the linked page. I suppose they had to add a level for when you melt down on Oprah with a crazy anti-psychiatry rant.
