Yesterday Kim picked me up at Palo Alto's train station for dinner and a show. We went to Zibibbo and had a marvelous meal; Kim had the rabbit, and i had the whole fish (black bass that night). We also had a bottle of 2000 Getariako Txakolina by Txomin Etxaniz (in Basque, the tx is pronounce 'ch'), a very nice Basque white wine, dry with a citrusy acidity and just a hint of carbonation.

After dinner, we headed to Stanford's Memorial Auditorium to see Squonk Opera perform "Inferno". It was definitely a lot of fun, but its short length (75 minutes, tops) disappointed me. After the show we wanted to catch dessert at La Fondue, as we knew that they will serve people for dessert only after 22:30; however, we arrived and learned this only occurs Sun-Thu. We settled for a sundae in Los Gatos, at Swensen's, then headed home.
