venividi pointed me towards this bit of information regarding yesterday's DDoS against LJ.  Needless to say, my contempt for Blue Security has reached a level reserved for people like Colin Powell and John McCain.

I interviewed at Six Apart today, but i signed an NDA, so anything i overheard or discussed today regarding the outage is not something i can repeat here.  The interview, however, went well, despite the lack of sleep of my interviewers (one of whom was lisa, if i may namedrop).  Sleep well tonight, guys!
