rone | soccer report (old and new)

The last time played with Fubar was between trips, and we won 13-3 versus Fury, which played the whole game short a man. The game was completely un-fun for me due to that. After i came back, the captain informed me that his old goalie was back for the next session and thus i wouldn't be needed anymore (except as a sub, which probably won't crop up anyway).

Blasters re-upped me, though, and i played my first game of the session (their third) on Monday; we lost to Baunfire 8-6 in a game where we dominated early but only had a one-goal lead at the break. We then ran out of gas and we were down quickly. I was a bit rusty, doling out the ball poorly on occasion and making a couple of panicked decisions, and all the flopping about has given me a couple of very sore arms. It's good to be back, though; a month off is too much.
