Google sent e-mail this morning regretfully turning me down, because it turned out that my skillset and experience didn't fit the job req.  This, of course, after phone and in-person interviews.  DERE GOOGUL: U R TEH LOL

Anyway, it looks like the job probably went to a more worthy candidate, and i already have a job, so it's all good.

I remember waider being handled similarly, although iirc it took Google a lot longer to give him a 'thanks but no' letter.

It looks like you're going somewhere more fun, even if it's less ultimo-l33t. And it's too late for you to become a kablooieonaire on Google's stock anyway.

Yeah, I didn't get the thanks-but-no until I contacted my recruitment person who claimed to have sent it out a week previously.
