They definitely showed a certain cunning by running him and using his marginal charisma to beat out Gore. Then the Democrats failed to learned the lesson and ran Kerry.

Kerry might have been all right if someone had clued him in that he was running for President, not Hero Of Vietnam.

Eh, he was a stiff through and through. And he proved to be a sore loser after that, too. Even Gore loosened up after he lost.
