There was a kerfuffle in the area lately when the ref at a Little League game prohibited one team from speaking Spanish on the grounds that it gave them an advantage. Of what sort, no one could figure out, as teams are supposed to have secret signals. Fortunately, the national Little League body overruled the ump on appeal and recommended he be suspended.
