just realistic, is my point. If he hangs with people he doesn't trust and doesn't want his kid around, it's entirely appropriate to tell her to keep away from them. And it's probably even sensible to give her the same rule everywhere, so that she doesn't wind up getting herself in trouble by blabbing to the bikers that it's OK for her to talk to some strangers but not to them.

Of course, none of this makes his bizarre reaction to Rone any less despicable.
